Major life events can make our lives feel disrupted.  Some people find they are highly distressed after a traumatic event.

If you have found it difficult to address your concerns on your own, it may be helpful to consult with a professional.

In my twenty five years working with clients, I find people come to therapy when they are suffering and have been unable to overcome their problems on their own.  I help people to resolve personal and interpersonal problems so they can lead more balanced and meaningful lives.

In my experience, it is useful to help people articulate what the problem is out loud. Once we fully understand the problem, I can then help you identify tools to help you solve them.  This is where the healing starts.

As each person is unique, we start with your history and when the problem started.  If talking together feels natural, then we likely are a good match to engage in treatment.  At this point, we are then able to establish goals for the treatment, decide how the work will proceed and what are the timelines for treatment.
